Rescue Swimmers = The Guardian

Have you ever watched the movie – The Guardian. Not because of Ashton Kutcher. It is the story that talks about a rescue swimmer. He is the fishers of man. He is the man who will save people in the sea at the expense of his own life. I have not seen this movie personally. Kathrina was saying that the guardian are like God and we are the rescue swimmer (evangelism,missions,christians) who will rescue people to bring them to The Guardian (God). Isn’t that wonderful.There was one part of the clip where Ashton Kutcher had to save lives. He rescued one and he told the other one that ” I will come back for You) . The rescue swimmer is preserving the earth by saving more people who were struggling in the wave’s of the sea. Something that really inspire me is that he learned swimming and he dedicated his life to save people. Many of us who are Christians has the Word with us, evangelism trick and tip but yet why are we not preserving the earth. This include myself too. If we don’t play our part to save man kind that their blood will be on our hands.I should say that ignorance is a human sin. Many of us live with it but don’t know. Ignorance is a bliss. It is a sin that kills people silently without knowing. I would say ignorance and procrestination goes hand in hand. When you are ignorant you will procrestinate and it will never be done. I would like to bring people to church. I find it tough and challenging. There was one incident and so happen we were talking about music. So I said I like Goo Goo Dolls. So happen they (my friends) knew that I was attending Hillsong Church and like Hillsong Music. They asked me a question on which one do I prefer so i said Hillsong. They were like you cant be serious with Hillsong. I was yes, I like Hillsong Music comparing to Goo Goo Dolls. Everybody looked at me with that One Kind of Look. I realise it’s though to stand for Christian Music. But at the end of it I felt good. I wasnt a coward to said I like Goo Goo Dolls comparing to Hillsong. On Monday I had to opportunity to talk to a girl. I asked her what does she in the weekends and she said movies. I was very happy to share that I am going to see the movie Amazing Grace. She was like WOW.. I told her it is a true story based of the life of William Wilberforce and John Newton’s song – Amazing Grace. We were also talking about Child Soldier and etc. Its amazing that she doesn’t attend church but she read’s book about child soldier,poverty,reading biographies of people who were once a child soldier. I made a mistake that I should invite her to church.Hoping to strive better the next time for God..

Cooking and all the in between.

I must confess here that i dont cook when i was in Malaysia. When i came to Sydney, I started cooking but i still dislike it. I dont mind cooking for myself but not for a big cook. Everyone
though that cooking is a female’s job. I must say that cooking is a male and female dominanating career or job. I was watching Oprah Show and she interview the chief cook for the White
House – Bush family, To my suprise, the chief cook was a female. Philipino American. Most of the top chef’s arounf the hotel’s world wide is male dominating show.

There was one night, i was so hungry and i was craving for marceroni soup. I went to coles to get my groceries got cooking started. Although i started cooking for the past 7 months, i must
say that i enjoyed cooking last saturday because i managed to cook the crave of my mouth. I just got the spirit within me when i was dipping meat and vegetable in the pot. No regrets that
i trully enjoy the food.

Before it was Passion of the Christ and soon, Amazing Grace.

It was exciting to see the Passion but it was sad that to see Jesus hung on the cross. This July 26 . The movie Amazing Grace is coming to Australia. I am so excited. It talks about
John Newton and some other influencer. The song Amazing Grace was written by John Newton. As a church, We (Hillsong) have already booked a cinema in George Street to watch it but unfortunately ,
all those people who are in power house couldn’t be part of the outing because power house meeting is on Wednesday but I guess we (power house) will be watching it is as a connect group. The
show was acted by the some Hollywood actor and actress.The movie talks about a true story based on the life of William Wilberforce. I had this Amazing Grace educational resources dvd.
As i watched some parts of the trailer and it’s clipping, I was moved in my heart to see those slave trader to slavery. I realise Humanity Insane Activities has no end. In the early 18 80’s
was the slave trader issue and now (after millenium) we, still have the issue of povery and child soldier in Africa. If you had watch the movie – Blood Diamond, then you would understand what
it means by child soldier. Some times I would imagine, what happens if William Wilberforce from heaven is seeing how povery and child soldier are going on.Thank God now the church are
now doing the works or taking William’s example to abolish child soldier and poverty. When i went for Hillsong Conference, one of the speaker made a bold statement. If we are christians, we
should take care of the window and the homeless children but why are the “Hollywood and Bono” doing. Where are all the Christians ..are we obligated to do it ? As a call to all Christians, we
should “Make Povery History”. Yesterday I went for an additional church service. Joe A’Bell was preeching a good message. He said Natural Disaster will bring all Humanitarian together
regarless od any religious back groud. All of us will forget everything and help. With natural disaster we were once stranger to each other but we became immediate friends. Perhaps I reckon
that Natural Disaster is one of the best way to evangelism. The big blow that America had after the Sept 11 had the people trusted God more. Paul Andrew was talking when there is unity,
it doesnt matter whether is Versace or Pasar Malam ,Porshe or Proton. In unity there is the opportunity to be one,to make a sound and a voice. (There is no voice’S). Unity is One.He also said that
the name of Hillsong Youth is call United. Let is not be just a name but let us stay United on which ever age group we are in.Joe A’Bell said this in order for us to stand for Humanity we need
to know these ABC of Evangelism

A – Accept (by Grace)
B – Believe (the grace) with power
C – Confess for people.

He was saying many people accept the grace and had to the power but not many people confess for people (humanitarian sake)

Hillsong Conference & Live Recording Album – Savior King

It is exactly 2 days more to the Annual Conference and what’s better is that Savior King album is available today. How Cool. I wait no more for it is now. Last year I wanted to go for Conference but
because for some circumstances I could not got but my closest friends went. When they came back they were saying good remarks about Hillsong Church and Conference. I suggested
that lets go for next year – 2007. To my surprise none of them are going. I would not blame them because One has to save about 1 year for the flight ticket,conference fee, and etc. Late
November my visa (student) for Australia was approved . I was so glad. I told my parents that i will be going to Hillsong Church for church service and conference. Indeed they blessed it. What’s
worse is that i have already registered as delegate for Conference Nights but none of my friends who went last year are coming. Its ok guys.Conference speaker are amazing with people like
Gary Skinner, Ed Young Jr, John Bevere, Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Brian Houston, Jentezen Franklin, Joseph Prince, TD Jakes, Steven Curtis Chapman, Israel Houghton, Darlene Zschech, and Hillsong United
and etc. I am excited. All delegates, all volunteers are going have to sleepless nights. For those of you, who are going for conference, more than 4300 volunteers and needed to run it smoothly.
Up to now (01.07.07) we have 4325 volunteers. Praise God. I might be a volunteer for next year conference or Full time delegate. I am hoping to bring my motehr for 08 – Hillsong Woman Colour
Conference.

For politics and politicians.. G4,Summit, Apec are their kind of conference. But we as Christians, Hillsong Conference,Planet Shakers Conference,Passion Conference,Huge camp and etc
are the heart beat of Churches and Christians.

Savior King..the new live worship recording album from Hillsong Church. It was recorded at Acer Arena – Sydney Olympic Park somewhere mid of March. It was amazing and spectacular. The
beginning of the conference was Marty Sampson singing Savior King with a candle lighted together with other groovy praise and worship. After singing about 6 – 7 songs,Pastor Brian came out to crack
some jokes and we, the worshipers turbo – charge ourself for the next part of the night. Although I am getting the cd tomorrow, I must say that this album is good. I am already starting to
like the songs in the Savior album and my voice is inside. For my friends back home in KL , worry not for you will get it as soon as I get it from Sydney. I understand that the album will be
out in Malaysia in somewhere late July or August. When I get my copy, I will pass the songs to John by email and please make sure that you guys buy it…I am helping you guys to listen and
lead in worship leading. So just as how you enjoy it , please buy it when the album is out in KL. Kill Piracy people !

I am just so in tune for the new live recording album.Once I got home, I could not stop listening the album. I hear the album over – and – over and – over again and whats worse I repeat the song
I was tune in tune with the song ” Break Free”. You should see the congregation when the recording was recorded. When the band was playing “Break Free” the arena was turn to a club.
We (the congregation) was just dancing and grooving to the dance. Why dance in a circular clubbing club… Who is there to attract other than guys !.. In the arena we were just dancing
because we have our joy in Christ Jesus. I felt so good that I was dancing and grooving while recording. I bet the worship time at the conference will be a wild one.. ha ..ha..

Here I am back from Hillsong Conference. It conclude yesterday.The opening (4.30 pm) of the conference was good. There was an orchestra playing some tunes, showing of amazing grace clipping and
etc. We started of the first praise and worship with Darlene and United team. They sang song like take it all,break free,savior king and etc. Once the praise and worship was done,Watoto
Children Quair presented the songs. It was so African but so catchy. As i see these young Ugandan who were once use as a child soldier, my sympathy goes to them. Now that they have
been rescued by Pastor Gary and Marilyn Skinner, they see a future in them as to be future national leaders. They sang about 3 songs.The opening sermon was with Pastor Gary Skinner.
His preaching was about how,when and who God send to Uganda. It was a good message with sympathy on all those African who became child soldier.Pastor Gary Skinner has became a
grandfather to many hundred’s of Ugandan Children.

For that monday (2.6.07) Hillsong Conference had 2 opener. The second opening which was 7.30 was almost the repeat of the 4.30 pm except that there was no Watoto Children Quair and it
was Pastor Ed Young Speaking. Ed Young is a real comedian. His preaching was good. He was using the illustration of the Lazy Boy Chair. Something that he keep of stressing is go to a
Whole Another Level. You Got it ,So Now Use It.

Tuesday morning conference speaker was John Bevere. It was good too. Unfortunately I did not take any notes for I was volunteering. For the night rallies 4.30 pm. It was John Bevere and
his repeated sermon that he spoke during the 9 am service. The 7.30 pm service was Indescribable.The presentation with Chris Tomlin was just phenomenal. He sang his famous songs
like – We fall down, Oh the Wonderful Cross, Holy is the Lord, Amazing Grace. Louie Giglio spoke an indescribable sermon too. He preached about the universe and its surrounding. So good
that i bought the dvd.
Wednesday morning we had Pastor Joseph Prince. His message was about grace.For the 4.30 pm we had our Senior Pastor – Brian Houston preching. It was a good one too. I like all
his sermon when it was in the the city campus.At 7.30 pm we had Jentzen Franklin.He was awesome. He spoke about Open Window.

- Take advantage of open window
- Faith is risk
- When God gives us the blessing,dont stay as a peacock
- Stay broken before God and God will be the opener
- Open the window to the Holy Spirit

Thursaday morning was Jentezen Franklin. He preach another good sermon. For the 4.30 pm night rallies. Joseph Prince preached about God’s love for us. Unfortunately i could not stay for
T.D Jakes as i was feeling sick and i skip Friday morning and T.D Jakes followed by the closing ceremony.

It is truly a blessing to be part of Hillsong Conference where the world’s finest teachers and communicators are.Next year conference is July 7 – 11 with special guest Joyce Meyer..
