There is saying that people who use glasses is very hard to know their personality as one have to pass by their glasses then to the eyes. Eyes are the windows of the soul. Therefore if one is wearing glasses, the main obstacle to get to the soul of the person is the glasses. Another interpretation of people, one wearing glasses is they are nerds, geeks or bookworms, playing too much play station games, online games, reading on the bed and etc. I come from a family that wears glasses. My parents started wearing glasses when they were kids. I started wearing glasses when I was 12 years old. My paternal family and relatives use glasses but some of them converted it to wearing contact lenses. Among all my relatives and cousins of my paternal side and my maternal side, I am having one of the lowest power. I am not blessed with an eye sight that doesn’t need to put on glasses but at least my power is not anywhere above 150 plus. I am short sighted with astigmatism. If I had to use contact lenses, there isn’t any available as my power is too low to produce a contact lenses and I might have to use hard lenses instead of soft lenses.
People with glasses are no different comparing to people who are not wearing glasses. Contray to many popular belief , people with glasses are smarter, they look more serious. They are not the people who can care less. At times I do not use glasses when I am out unless I am in the mood, driving while it is raining, swollen eyes, reading, on the computer or when I feel like I want to be a nerd. I have broken about at least 10 pairs of glasses. It was like braking each a year. I made my parents really angry and it so troublesome to find a new pair which looks really good on me. Wearing glasses at times will make you look better, accentuate your cheek bone, eyes, and etc. Some people grumble of wearing glasses but I don’t anymore.
There are loads of glasses to choose from and there’s bound to be at least one style which will suite you. There are even frames that look so cool that some people who don’t need glasses wear them without any glass in them. Some people don’t like wearing glasses because they think others will make fun of them. Making fun of people wearing glasses is pretty stupid too especially when you think that most of those people will be wearing them one day and look who will be laughing at them.
The most important to know that glasses don’t look silly, they don’t make you weaker, they don’t magically turn you into a bookworm (unless by nature you are), they don’t make you abnormal, and they don’t make you a freak but definitely don;t make you uncool right.
